Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Servely.
Overview
Servely is an online hospitality staffing marketplace operated by Berge Dermelkonian, a sole proprietor based in Lebanon ("Servely," "we," "us"). Servely connects venues (such as restaurants, caterers and event venues) with independent, freelance hospitality professionals who are available for on-demand extra shifts.
By creating an account or using the marketplace, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Nature of Service
Servely is a marketplace, not an employer, staffing agency, or recruitment agency. Hospitality professionals who use Servely are independent contractors. They are not employees of Servely, and they are not employees of any venue merely by using the marketplace.
Venues and hospitality professionals are independent parties who arrange and settle work and compensation directly with each other. Servely is not a party to any shift agreement, employment relationship, or payment arrangement between a venue and a professional.
Servely does not guarantee the availability, quality, conduct, reliability, or suitability of any hospitality professional or venue, and does not guarantee that any booking request will result in a completed shift, work, or payment.
Shift Agreements
Each shift agreement — including pay rate, hours, working conditions, and any other terms — is negotiated and agreed directly between the venue and the hospitality professional. Servely does not set wages, verify hours worked, collect payment for shifts, or enforce any shift agreement.
Subscriptions & Billing
New venue accounts include a 14-day free trial of the marketplace. No payment is taken during the trial. After the trial, venues pay a recurring subscription fee of $29 per month or $290 per year for continued marketplace access.
Subscription payments are arranged and paid manually by bank transfer, Whish, OMT Pay, or cash. Payment instructions are sent by email or WhatsApp (+961 71 049 472). The account is activated once Servely confirms receipt of payment. Renewals are manual: the venue pays for the next period before the current access expires.
Servely does not process, hold, or distribute payment for shifts worked. Shift pay is settled directly between the venue and the hospitality professional.
No Refunds
All subscription payments are final and non-refundable, including partial billing periods, except where required by law.
Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscription or trial at any time from their venue dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the end of the current paid or trial period, and access to the marketplace ends once that period is over. Venues can reactivate at any time by paying for the next period.
Reliability, Reviews and No-Shows
Only venues with a completed booking may leave a rating or written review for the hospitality professional they booked. Reviews are public on the professional's profile.
A venue that reports a no-show must provide a short mandatory description. Each no-show report is stored against the professional's profile and is visible to other venues. After a configurable number of confirmed no-show reports, the professional's account may be automatically suspended from search and new bookings pending review by our team.
Professionals may submit a dispute or explanation for any report against them. Our team reviews disputes and may reinstate the professional or confirm a permanent deplatforming decision.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile or venue record, including contact details, rates, availability, and business information. You are also responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
Prohibited conduct includes impersonation, submitting false or misleading information, abusive or harassing behaviour, misuse of reporting or review features, attempting to access other users' accounts, and using the marketplace for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe presents a risk to other users or to the marketplace.
Limitation of Liability
Servely is not liable for the conduct, reliability, or performance of venues or hospitality professionals, or for any work arrangement or payment between them. The marketplace is provided on an "as is" basis, and to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.
